The Old Hag Syndrome is a sleep state that has effected people for years all around the world, including myself. I've had this happen around ten times so far throughout my life, each episode terrifying, leaving me to feel as if I might be dying. But how real is it? If there anything to it other than just a myth?
If you have experienced it, then you know what it's like to be in that half awake state and be paralyzed, feeling as if someone is holding you down, sucking the breath from you.
My last episode happened in my old house(the haunted one, see earlier blog post), it left me sleeping with the lights on at night, which I do to this day. Yup, I can't sleep in the dark anymore without feeling smothered.
I'm interested in hearing about other peoples experienced. If you have had The Old Hag, I'd like to read about how you dealt with it.

Have you ever encountered a ghost?
If you go back and read my first post on this blog, you will discover that I lived in a haunted house for a period of almost three years.
My experiences varied, but seemed to increase more as time passed. In the end, I sold because I didn't want to live with it any longer among other things.
My question is: Have you ever encountered what you think might have been a ghost?
